In a remarkable demonstration of commitment to health and awareness during our third month of our Beekman Group Wellness Drive, we held a crucial screening campaign for our staff.
The Sister on Wheels, sponsored by Discovery Medical Aid, visited our head office on the 23rd of October to conduct free health screenings, which is also a crucial step to activate the Discovery Wellth Fund. The screenings included blood pressure, cholesterol, blood sugar levels, and an HIV test.
We take pride in announcing that 74 of our staff and their families actively participated, making it a momentous month for well-being.
What’s truly commendable is the proactive approach taken by a substantial number of men who underwent blood tests for prostate cancer. This collective dedication to health is inspiring, and we applaud everyone involved in this initiative. Together, we make strides towards a healthier and more aware community.
