Kids excited to receive their Santa Shoeboxes

Santa Shoebox and the Beekman Group recently visited Masibambisane Creche in Madlala Location to drop off the Santa Shoeboxes for the children there. The little ones were very excited and were all smiles as they waited very patiently for their boxes to be distributed to everyone. As soon as everyone got their boxes, they opened them and eagerly showed each other what they got.

The Group donated 67 boxes this year as well as brought cake and other goodies for the little ones to have a Christmas party.

The Santa Shoebox Project originated in Cape Town in 2006 with a humble 180 shoeboxes. In 14 years it has grown in leaps and bounds, with the number of Santa Shoeboxes donated reaching a total of 858 673. The shoeboxes are distributed to more than 1000 recipient facilities each year, through more than 60 satellites around South Africa and Namibia. Visit santashoebox.org.za to find out how you can help.
