Gardens and Grounds Supervisor – The Kingdom Resort
Pilanesberg – North West – South Africa
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Supervisor: Gardens and Grounds to oversee the day-to-day maintenance and presentation of gardens, landscaped areas, and grounds across our properties. This role ensures that outdoor areas are maintained to the highest standards, enhancing the overall guest and resident experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily gardening and grounds maintenance activities
- Allocate tasks and oversee performance of grounds staff
- Ensure gardens, lawns, pathways, and outdoor areas are well maintained
- Monitor irrigation systems and report maintenance requirements
- Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
- Assist with landscaping projects and seasonal planting
- Manage tools, equipment, and materials
- Report issues and provide regular feedback to management
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Proven experience in gardens and grounds maintenance
- Sound knowledge of horticulture, landscaping, and irrigation systems
- Previous supervisory experience (advantageous)
- Ability to lead and motivate a team
- Physically fit and willing to work outdoors
- Valid driver’s licence (advantageous)
