Copy & Design Intern
Port Shepstone – KwaZulu Natal – South Africa
An opportunity has arisen for an Intern to join the Company in a Copy and Design capacity. This opportunity is ideally suited to a candidate who has recently completed a relevant tertiary qualification and is seeking practical work experience, or who is currently studying towards a relevant qualification.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Matric certificate.
- A relevant qualification, or be currently studying towards a qualification in Copywriting, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Graphic Design, English, or a related field.
- Strong written English, with excellent grammar, spelling, and proofreading skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic experience or examples of design, layout, and artwork adaptation would be advantageous.
- Basic computer literacy, with proficiency in common office applications, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Canva.
- Creative thinking, artistic ability, and a strong eye for detail.
- An understanding of print processes and pre-production would be advantageous.
- The ability to work effectively under pressure and adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
Applications should include a small portfolio or examples of written and/or creative work demonstrating writing ability and creative skills.
