The PMR.africa Awards are based on independent research and peer perception, with 105 respondents – including CEOs, managing directors, business owners, and regional leaders – surveyed across the KwaZulu-Natal South Coast.
These awards aren’t won through marketing or submissions. They’re earned through real-world interactions, trust and our industry reputation. That makes this achievement especially meaningful to us.
According to PMR.africa CEO Johan Hattingh, the purpose of these awards is not only to celebrate excellence but to set benchmarks that others aspire to. They shine a light on the people and teams who work tirelessly behind the scenes to uphold world-class standards.
“As an organisation, we believe in creating a culture of gratitude,” Hattingh shared. “Gratitude towards colleagues, clients and communities. These awards are an opportunity to recognise the people who make companies great and to inspire others to follow that example.”

Whether helping a family plan their next holiday, managing key accounts, or supporting resort operations, each person plays a vital role in bringing the Beekman standard to life.
One of the most meaningful acknowledgements was the award for Demonstrating Exceptional Managerial and Corporate Governance. Jenny Chetty, our Member Services Manager, who proudly represented the Beekman Group at the awards ceremony, shared her perspective:
“This award is a true reflection of the people behind the Beekman Group. It represents our combined effort, our shared values, and the pride we take in every interaction.
