Beekman Group shines at the 2019 Oscas


The Beekman Group once again garnered several accolades at the recent industry awards evening. Resorts Condominiums International (RCI) hosted an industry awards gala evening at the Maslow Time Square in Tshwane on Wednesday, March 6. Vacation Management Services, the resorts management company belonging to The Beekman Group, was recognized in a number of categories, most notably the Investment in Hospitality Award. This is the first time that a company received this award, which is a feat worth writing home to.

The following resorts and individuals were recognised by the industry for their achievements, dedication and service excellence:

Karla De Groot (Royal Wharf)
Leahcim Jantjies (Placid Waters)
Lisa-Marie Watson (The Beekman Group)

Qunu Falls Lodge received the Top Silver Crown resorts – medium award and was also nominated in two other categories, namely Comment Card Awards – Top Unit and Top Resort Maintenance.

Dikholo garnered two awards, the RADA Upgraded Resorts – Hospitality to Silver Crown Grading and Green Award for their water management system.

Sunshine Bay Beach Club in the Eastern Cape won the Comment Card Awards – Top Unit Maintenance and was nominated for the Top Gold Crown Resort – Medium category.

Formosa Bay Villas was nominated for the Top Silver Crown Resort – Medium and Pebble Beach nominated for Top Hospitality Resorts. Castleton and Kiara Lodge were both nominated for Top Gold Crown Resort – Large category.
