9 CAN I USE MY POINTS DURING MY FIRST YEAR OF MEMBERSHIP? When you purchase your Points, you are given the choice of whether you want to use these Points in your first year of Membership or if you want to wait for the next year’s Points allocation. If you choose to use your points in your first year you must notify the club in writing and the points will be allocated after receipt of the current year's relevant Membership and Levy Fees. HOW TO BOOK? Contact reservations on 014 736 8900 to request a reservation or access online bookings once you have registered at www.funseekers.co.za • To book your holiday, choose the resort, occupation date and unit size. • To avoid disappointment, we recommend you have alternative resorts and dates of travel should your chosen resort or dates not be available. • Once you have confirmed your reservation, you will be sent a confirmation letter. You are required to present the confirmation letter to the resort when you check in. For International reservations, call 0861 439 242. HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO MAKE MY BOOKING? Members must try and book at least 12 (twelve) months in advance for quality holiday opportunities. All requests for reservations are subject to availability on a first come first served basis. CAN I CHECK IN ON ANY DAY OF THE WEEK? No, the resorts have set check-in times. Guests must adhere to the resort rules whilst on holiday. Timeshare resorts normally set one day of the week as their check-in and check- out day. During out of season, the majority of resorts allow a weekend or midweek occupation and guests can check in as per the set times indicated on the confirmation letter received. DO I HAVE TO BOOK A FULL WEEK HOLIDAY? No. You can book a midweek break or a weekend getaway, if you prefer. Midweek (4 nights) and weekend (3 nights) breaks are available out of school holidays, and it is only fair to warn you that not all resorts offer these. WHAT ARE BONUS BREAKS? A Bonus Break is a booking you make that is paid for with cash and not your Points. This might be because you either want to save your Points, or you have run out of Points for the year. The rates charged are at cost to the Club, and sometimes way less than cost, depending on the notice period to check in. The closer to check in when you make the booking, the higher your discount will be, up to 70% in some instances! Bonus Breaks are strictly out of season. CAN I BOOK AT CARAVAN & CAMPING SITES? Funseekers does offer a caravan and camping benefit. This benefit is limited to Points Members at pre-identified resorts and out of season only. Please contact our Member Services department for more information on the benefit. HOW LONG ARE MY POINTS VALID FOR? Points are valid for three years, current +2 years (previous & next). Once points have reached their expiry date, they will automatically expire and be removed from your account. FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Note! If you cancel or change a confirmed reservation after the Points expiry date, the Points will not be reinstated.
