Superuser (Reservations)

Port Shepstone – KwaZulu Natal – South Africa

The role of the Superuser is to provide support to the Reservations Team, in respect of reporting, administrative functions as required and group bookings, which requires you make outbound calls to clients that have made a group booking to facilitate the necessary in terms of policy, including liaison between resort and reservations.
These include administrative tasks related to the above functions, including reporting, maintenance, the coordination of updates and employee training in collaboration with the Training and Development Department to enable users to operate the system. It requires engagement with staff on the Go Live updates and getting sign of the same.  Being able to produce and analyse reports, identifying areas of strengths/weakness.
Key Performance Areas:
  • Understanding of the own proprietary software programmes as they are being applied in the applicable departments
  • Support end-users in the functionality, daily operations, reporting and technical administration of their systems
  • Troubleshoot and Problem solve issues that arise in the day-to-day running of the systems and provide timely responses and solutions as required. Respond to technical queries and troubleshoot with super-users and end-users.

  • Payments requisitions
  • Customer Liaison  
  • Matric essential including 2 years’ experience in working with own proprietary software.
  • Specifically reservations and Timeshare related modules

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to work under pressure, meet set deadlines, plan and organise
