Restaurant Supervisor/Barman – Kiara Lodge

Clarens – Free State

Key Performance Areas: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
 
  • Assist with stock takes
  • Responsible for opening & closing shift duties
  • Handle guest complaints
  • Ensure storerooms are clean & tidy
  • Interact with customers, take orders and serve snacks and drinks
  • Assess customers’ needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Plan and present bar menu
  • Check customers’ identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations
 
Position Requirements:
  • Must have experience in Food & Beverage services
  • Must be able to lead a team
  • High level of communication skills – both written and verbal
  • Must be computer literate
  • Friendly, approachable with some form of client experience
  • Ability to handle complaints in a courteous manner
  • Previous bar experience will be an advantage
  • Live out position
