Business Development Consultant – Beekman Group Sales

Port Shepstone – KwaZulu Natal – South Africa

Key Performance Areas: The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
 
  • Seek out opportunities to grow and support the Beekman Group Sales operations, requiring understanding of marketing and sales processes, and necessary training initiatives
  • Grow the respective brands, consistent with agreed outcomes or product portfolios
  • Build and nurture relationships between sales companies, sales agents, head office operations
  • Managing various business communications and queries from and to sales companies
  • Lead management
  • Co-ordinate marketing requests between marketing department and sales operations, including stock management of various publications
  • Control of sales agency mandates, agent access and operational processes or policies related thereto, including system access both for agency and representatives
  • Required to travel to various affiliated properties and/ or trade shows and/ or agencies
 
Position Requirements:
  • Matric
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, Excel and Powerpoint
  • Excellent communication skills both in-person, written and verbal, including presentation skills
  • Must be prepared to travel
  • Excellent operational skills
