The Destination
Mozambique was a leading African tourism destination in the
1960’s and early 1970’s and the government is eager to
regain this status. Geographically, the country is ideally
situated as a link between the main tourism regions of East
Africa (Tanzania) in the north and South Africa in the south.
Foreign tourism developments along the coastline and on the
off shore islands is openly encouraged.
The country is blessed with a long stretch of unspoilt tropical
coastline. The magnificent transparent waters are an

Es-Salaam. Europe is served with two direct weekly flights from Lisbon. Bilene is located just two
hours driving time north of Maputo and is renowned for its offshore fishing opportunities. The
sheltered lagoon is 13.5km’s long and 1.5km’s wide as is fringed by a beach of dazzling silver sand.
