Directors of the Beekman Group
John & Bram Beekman
Group CEO & Chairman
John & Bram’s first success came back in 1970 when they broke away from their
father’s painting business to start their own painting company.
In 1980, John & Bram
sold their business which at that point was among the top 5 in the country.
The brothers then moved to Durban where they diversified and entered the timeshare
industry and in 1981 officially launched the Beekman Group which has grown
to become the biggest timeshare club in Africa. John is the MD of the Group and his
strengths are in property development, conceptualization and relationship building.
He is an avid golfer and devotes all his spare time to the Port Shepstone Country Club
where he currently serves as Chairman. Bram acts as Chairman of the Group, encompassing the
usual duties associated with this position, as well as acting as Systems Co-Ordinator, including finance
and legal aspects. His strengths lie in his meticulous planning and structured implementation. Bram
has been elected to the RCI Hall of Fame for his many contributions to the Leisure Industry.

Cindy Allan
Executive Director
Cindy matriculated in 1992 with Academic Colours for Accountancy, Business
Economics and Mathematics; She also received the Standard Bank Trophy for
Accountancy and good fellowship.
In 1995 Cindy completed her B Com in Accounts
and Finance from the University of Natal. Cindy joined the Beekman Group in 1996
working her way through the various divisions of the group. She has gained over 10
years experience in the leisure and property development industry and is now
responsible for the financial administration arm of the group.

Neville Beekman
Executive Director
Neville started with the Beekman Group in 1994 after graduating from Technikon
Natal with a National Business Management Diploma.
After working with the
Reservations Department for two years, Neville took over The Property Acquisition
and Development Portfolio for The Holiday Club and developed Waterberg Game Park
in 1998 and then went on to successfully complete another nine big resort projects up
to the end of 2007. Along with the development side, Neville also oversees the on site
management of The Holiday Club resorts and the refurbishment thereof. In 2001
Neville was also responsible for the setup of The Holiday Club Australia
and continues
to be involved as a Director on the Board.

Wayne Beekman
Executive Director
Wayne matriculated in 1996 with both Sporting and Academic Colours. In 1999 Wayne
completed his B Com majoring in Marketing and Business Economics.
Subsequent to
working and travelling abroad for a year, Wayne returned to Port Shepstone and
started working for the family business. After 8 years with the group, Wayne’s
portfolio now includes IT, Marketing, member benefits and more recently Residential
Developments.

Steve McCarroll
Sales Director
Steve began his career in property marketing in 1980 with Silversands in Durban.
In 1983 he moved to Johannesburg and formed a Marketing Company which was listed
on the JSE in 1998. He was then approached by John Beekman to head the Sales and
Marketing of the Beekman Group and has been with the company and
watched it grow from strength to strength ever since. Steve, like John and Bram
Beekman, has also been elected to the RCI Hall of Fame for his many contributions to
the Leisure Industry and has also received the Sales and Leadership award from RCI
four times.
